Finally Here: How to Install the PinguPal CMS Beta in 3 Minutes!

Hello PinguPal Community!

After months of work and numerous fixes, it's finally here: The PinguPal CMS Beta! We are keeping our promise and giving you the opportunity today to try out the stable, lean blog system yourself.

The installation is deliberately kept simple so you can start right away. No complicated setup, no long instructions – we promise.

🐧 Your 3-Step Guide to the PinguPal Beta

All you need is a web server with PHP support and a few minutes of your time.

1. Download and Upload the File

Download the installation script. It is the only file you need to get started:

🔗 Download Link: https://github.com/n3tzzw3rg76/PinguPal_CMS/releases/download/v0.7.6.1.20251014.BETA/install.php

Then upload this single file (install.php) via FTP or SFTP to the root directory of your web server, where your website should run later.

2. Start the Installation

Open your web browser and call up the uploaded file directly. If your domain is, for example, my-domain.com, enter:

https://my-domain.com/install.php

The script will guide you through the few necessary steps, such as setting up the database and creating your admin account. Simply follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Get Started!

As soon as the installation is complete, the script will automatically redirect you to the login of your new PinguPal CMS.

Important: Please remove the file install.php from your root directory after installation to ensure the security of your system.
